Dry Suit Diver

During your PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course, you’ll not only cover the background knowledge related to dry suit diving, you’ll get into confined water to put that theory into practice.

Once you’ve mastered confined water, it’s time for two open water dives and applying that knowledge, including dive planning, organization, techniques, problems and buoyancy control.

Prerequisites

  • PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Be medically fit to dive
  • Pre-study course manual and fill in review sections before start of the course
  • Watch DVD before start of the course

• Suiting Up
• Predive Safety Check (BWRAF)
• Entry
• Buoyancy Check with Dry Suit
• Descent
• Neutral Buoyancy – Hovering
• Scuba Unit and Weight Belt Remove and Replace at Surface
• Disconnect/reconnect low-pressure inflator hose to dry suit
• Ascent, safety stop for 3 minutes at 5 metres/15 feet
